The graduate students of Temple University’s Department of African American Studies continue to create an environment in which graduate students in African American Studies, Africalogy, Africology, Afro-American Studies, Black Studies, Africana Studies, and Pan-African Studies discuss their research, theories and perspectives within the discipline of African American Studies and any of its subject/content areas. The 2005 conference is titled: Moving the Discipline Forward : Providing African Centered Research in a Climate of Global White Supremacy. Our African intellectual tradition should inspire the new generation of African American Studies scholars.
