The western regional meeting of the National Collaborative for Women's History Sites will take place March 11-13, 2005 at Arizona State University in Tempe. Sessions will address women's sites in Arizona and Texas; the resources available in state libraries, archives and historical societies to use for research and interpretation of women's places; a study of the development of the Women's Hall of Fame in Arizona; and trails, driving tours and other ways of making women's history and material culture available to scholars and the public. Hotel reservations may be made at the university rate of $89 plus tax a night until February 11, 2005. The cost: members, $125.00 which includes registration and conference meals; $150.00 for non-members.
