Contributors needed for the following short list of remaining entries for EIGHTEENTH-CENTURY BRITISH HISTORIANS, a volume of the reference series, DICTIONARY OF LITERARY BIOGRAPHY. Each biographical, evaluative entry should be 3,000 words, to include list of subject's works and sources consulted.

Nathaniel Salmon, 1675-1742
Gilbert Stuart, 1742-1786
Completed entries will be due April 1, 2005. Honoraria will be paid for acceptable entries, and contributors will receive copies of the volume.
Prospective contributors are asked to e-mail volume editor and include vita by attachment no later than February 1, 2005.
