“Continuity or Change?: Understanding Security in the 21st Century” Call for Papers 3rd Annual REGIS Graduate Student Conference April 1, 2005 McGill University
The Research Group in International Security (REGIS) will be holding its 3rd annual graduate student conference Friday, April 1st, 2005 at McGill University. We invite graduate students to submit paper proposals for presentations that should not exceed 20 minutes in length. The presentations should deal with the issue of security broadly defined. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic Studies
- Civil Wars
- Disarmament
- Defence and Security Policy
- Civil-Military Relations
- Peacekeeping
- Intelligence
The first goal of this conference is to permit students to present their research and to stimulate collaboration between students from different Canadian and North American universities.
Presentations will be in English or French. Proposals should not exceed 250 words. Please include a brief biography. Please submit your proposals to the e-mail address provided below.
