Iletisim Publishing, Istanbul is preparing to republish “Tarih ve Toplum” in a new format: Changing its title into “Tarih ve Toplum. Yeni Yaklasimlar” [“History and Society. New Approaches”] it will be a six-monthly refereed academic journal of history in Turkish language. The first issue of the new series appears in Spring 2005. It aims to function as a platform for fresh thematic, theoretical and methodological debates and discussions in historical studies without any limitations in terms of topics, geographical area and period. It covers four categories:
- research articles
- critical reviews and debates
- documents
- news on academic events
