The conference seeks to examine inter-group relations in the last century in Nigeria. The focus areas include the following: Theoretical and conceptual questions on inter-group relations, political relations, economic linkages, social and cultural relations, intra/inter ethnic interactions, democratization and emerging trends in inter-group relations, and other related themes. Intended audience includes academia (especially historians, sociologists, political scientists, psychologists and interested civil society groups). The conference is slated for 8th - 11th June, 2005 at the Main Campus, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nigeria. It is about 40 minutes drive from Abuja, the federal capital.
