Frühe Neuzeit Interdisziplinär, a conference group in interdisciplinary early modern German studies, is offering two graduate student stipends to attend its 2005 conference at Duke University.

Graduate student stipends to attend the FNI conference at Duke University, April 7-10, 2005. Fruehe Neuzeit Interdisziplinaer (FNI) is pleased to announce two travel stipends of up to US$800 for graduate students interested in early modern German studies. Candidates may be advanced MA students or PhD candidates in art history, German or comparative literature, history, music history, philosophy, or related fields. To apply, please send a cover letter describing research interests, and attach a letter from your academic advisor or graduate advisor that confirms your enrollment and progress in a relevant graduate degree program. Owing to tightened government restrictions, recipients must be US citizens or permanent residents.
