The Human Flower Project is a news source, photo album, weblog and collaborative discussion of flowers in human culture. Led by sociologist Julie Ardery, the project reports on both sacred and secular customs around the world. Through the human handling of flowers, we cover such subjects as ethnic identity, globalization, ecology, and folkways. Submissions and comments welcome.
