The Canadian Society of Church History (CSCH) invites senior scholars, junior scholars and graduate students to submit paper proposals on all aspects of the history of Christianity, Canadian and non-Canadian, for our annual meeting to be held at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, from noon to noon, May 29-31, 2005. Proposals might address the broad theme for Congress 2005:
- Paradoxes of Citizenship: Environments, Exclusions, Equity.
Founded in 1960, the Canadian Society of Church History is dedicated to promoting and encouraging research in the history of Christianity, particularly the history of Christianity in Canada. Over the years, the Society's annual meetings have provided a forum for Canada's leading historians of Christianity. In addition, the Society has encouraged younger historians, especially graduate students, to present papers that contribute to the historical understanding of Christianity.
Please fax or e-mail a one page proposal and a brief C.V. to the programme chair, Gary Miedema, by January 14, 2005.
