Thomas Benjamin , Editor-in-Chief, wishes to invite scholars to contribute to a valuable encyclopedic project on Western colonialism. The name of the project is The Encyclopedia of Western Colonialism Since 1450 by The Gale Group/Macmillan Reference USA. This encyclopedia is organized in the following five regional divisions: The Americas, Africa, the Middle East, and East Asia and the Pacific. The articles of each regional division are supervised by an Associate Editor. In addition, we also have an editorial board of distinguished scholars in the field of Western Colonialism.
At this moment we have a few articles left to be assigned. Persons interested in writing one or more articles need to contact Dennis R. Hidalgo (e-mail address shown below). The Editors will provide scope descriptions for each article, a date for delivery, and answer questions relevant to the articles and the larger project.
