The interdisciplinary study of sport in Africa and the Diaspora creates new opportunities for research and dialogue on past, present, and future issues affecting Africa. The editors of this journal seek original and qualitative papers on any sporting theme, but encourage submissions that are comparative in nature, as well as case studies within a region or country on the continent, or in the Diaspora.

The editors of the journal seek high quality papers that address the issues of sports and the aforementioned issues, comparatively and/or within societies and countries.
