Eisenhower and National Security for the 21st Century

The Eisenhower Memorial Commission and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (at the National Defense University) are co-sponsoring a symposium entitled "Eisenhower and National Defense for the 21st Century" from January 26-28, 2005 at Fort McNair in Washington, DC.
The symposium's wide-ranging and international program is designed to build on the considerable amount of new historical research into Eisenhower's legacy as Commander in Chief and to apply that understanding to current and future security challenges.
Topics Include:
- Eisenhower and the Changing National Security Environment
- Eisenhower, Science and National Security
- Eisenhower's Organization of the Intelligence Community
- Dwight D. Eisenhower-- International Perspectives
