Convivium: Siena Center for Medieval and Early Modern Studies announces its sixth annual multidisciplinary conference to be held October 7-8, 2005 at Siena College, Loudonville, NY. We are interested in papers of all aspects of religious diversity in the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Era, across all academic disciplines. Possible subjects include: interactions between members of the three Abrahamic religions; artistic representations of religious diversity; travel narratives; laws, social codes, rituals, or liturgies; Crusade and/or Diaspora; manuscripts and textual transmission; science and religion; women religious and secular; literary cross-fertilization; sacred architecture. We are interested in any topic related to our main subject.
