Drury University invites students from other campuses to take part in our popular 3-week summer program in St. Petersburg, Russia. The program is conducted in affiliation with the Center of Russian Language and Culture of the St. Petersburg State University. Drury University gives non-Drury students 3 transferable credit hours in History 390 ("Reading the City: St. Petersburg in Russian History and Culture"). The course is team-taught by Dr. Maxim Matusevich and a group of professors at the St. Petersburg State University. Dates of the trip: May 20 - June 10, 2005. Intensive sightseeing program, which includes a 2-day boat trip on Lake Ladoga and a day trip to Novgorod. No language requirements. All classes are taught in English.
Estimated cost of the program for 2005 is $3,200 + $490 in Drury tuition. The cost is all-inclussive (roundtrip air, visa support, accomodations, all excursions, group lunches, etc.). We have extensive experience in accomodating students from other campuses, especially in the Midwest.
