I am assembling a panel for the 2006 OAH meeting in Washington DC focusing on US tariff policy in the 19th century. Papers that can tie into the conference theme ("Our America") were strongly encouraged. Please submit your proposal via e-mail to Jane Flaherty, Department of History, Texas A&M University (e-mail address shown below). If you have any questions about the format of the proposal, please check the OAH website or contact Jane. Please send your proposals to me by 24 December 2004. The proposals will be submitted to the OAH before 15 January 2005.
