Encyclopedia of the Age of Political Revolutions and New Ideologies, 1760-1815
The 2-volume, illustrated Encyclopedia of the Age of Political Revolutions and New Ideologies, 1760-1815 is scheduled to be published by Greenwood Press in 2007. The editor seeks writers for its entries.
Candidates must be willing to write entries totaling at least 2,000 words. Preference will be given to college professors, published writers, and advanced graduate students, but others qualified to write about this subject will also be considered. The deadline for submissions is six months from the time work is assigned to an author. The deadline is firm, so please do not respond to this call unless you are confident that you can complete your work in that time. Compensation for accepted entries will be the 2-volume set of the encyclopedia, which will be sent to contributors at publication, or $20.00 for every 1,000 words.
If you are interested in writing for this important reference, please send your request and preferred e-mail address to the editor, Gregory Fremont-Barnes (e-mail address shown below)
Qualified candidates will receive a listing of available entries and asked to indicate their preferences. Prospective contributors will receive an assignment and contributors' guidelines by e-mail followed by a release form postal mailed from the publisher to be signed and returned. Completed entries are subject to the normal editing process required for quality publications and are accepted for publication at the discretion of the editor, advisory board, and publisher.
