ISEO Summer school with Nobel Laureates.
I.S.E.O., Institute for Studies on Economics and Employment, is a non profit association founded in 1998 and chaired by Professor Franco Modigliani, Nobel Laureate for economic sciences, until his death. At present, I.S.E.O. Institute is chaired by Professor Robert Solow, Nobel Laureate in 1987.The summer school aims at bringing together a large number of students coming from the most important European and American university to improve their knowledge in economics. The course introduces to some of the basic principles of international economy, investigating the role of America and Europe in the international economic scenario. It focuses on growth, on the strategies and instruments of monetary policy, on the structure and mechanisms of the financial sector, with a particular focus on the welfare state and unemployment.
