Call for Nominations for the 2004 Northeast Popular Culture/American Culture Association (NEPCA) Book Award.
The Northeast PCA/ACA invites publishers to submit one book published in 2004 for our annual book award competition. Books will be judged by the award committee on the basis of originality, scholarship and as a contribution to the multidisciplinary fields of popular culture and/or American culture. Monographs, but not fiction, humor, collections or edited works, published in 2004 by an author who lives or works in New York or New England are eligible. The prize ($200.00 and a certificate of merit) will be presented to the winner at our annual conference in Fairfield, CT on October 29, 2005. The winning book will be reviewed in the Journal of Popular Culture or Journal of American Culture. Contact the book award editor, Peter Holloran, for details by June 1, 2005.
