The Champlain-St. Lawrence Seminar in Early American History and Culture will meet on Friday, November 19 from 3-5 pm, in Valcour, New York (just south of Plattsburgh, NY).
Our presenter is Carolyn Podruchny (York University), whose topic is "Miraculous Escapes in French-Canadian Voyageur Oral Tradition: Jean Cadieux's Song, Story and Wood-Carved Lament."
