The Beat Generation and Counterculture panels of the 26th Annual Conference of the Southwest / Texas Popular Culture and American Culture Associations in Albuquerque
February 9-12, 2005
Any topic related to Beat Generation literature, art, and music is welcome. Presentations may be made in any modern language. Please submit a 250 word abstract of your paper (no full papers) with a two-part title (such as "Between Bombast and Babble: Kerouac's Search for the Poetic Monad and Logos") by December 1, 2004 (reception deadline, not postmark).
Please include a short biographical note that addresses your geographical and educational details and any other pertinent information you would want to include (200 words or less). Additionally, please include your university or professional affiliation, mailing address, phone, fax, and e-mail.
No paper will be considered unless all these criteria are fulfilled. I would prefer to receive all abstracts and biographies as part of an e-mail message, but attachments in MS Word or as an RTF file are acceptable.
A response will be sent in one week or less.
