I am currently editing, and in the final stages of organizing The Routledge Encyclopedia of International Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Contemporary Culture.
The brief of the project is to address ‘contemporary’ glbtq cultural practice. According to Routledge’s definition of ‘contemporary’ this means post-1945. In this way, the entries should emphasize this period and glbtq cultural practices that have occurred during this time frame. If you have interest in writing for the encyclopedia in the following areas listed below, please contact me with a note of interest, a brief cv, and a short writing sample. Routledge pays approximately $US50 per 1000 words. All work must be submitted no later than 15 February 2005.
