2006 OAH - Race in Post Civil War America

I'd like to put together a panel for the 2006 OAH about race in Post Civil War America. I write about race, politics, and all-black towns in turn-of-the century-Oklahoma. Based on the responses, the panel's theme could be about region, Southern, Western, or crossroads, also politics, communities, African Americans, race relations, etc. The panel submission deadline is 1-15-2005.
