Under the broad theme of citizenship, the Canadian Society for the Study of Rhetoric invites proposals for its annual conference, to be held in conjunction with the Canadian Humanities and Social Sciences Congress at the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario, 29-31 May 2005. Deadline for submission is 15 January 2005
Submissions that address some aspect of the theory, practice, and history of rhetoric will be welcomed, but we are particularly interested in submissions that respond to the Congress theme of "Paradoxes of Citizenship: Environments, Exclusions, Equity." We seek submissions in both English and French. Full details are available on our web site.
