“California in Context”

The History Department of California State University, Long Beach and its Graduate Student Association, HGSA are soliciting papers for its first annual “California in Context” Conference. Disciplines may include, but are not limited to, history, literature, political science, education, religion, music, art, economics, health care, and current issues related to California are welcome

Please submit 500 word abstracts of 20 minute presentations by January 5, 2005. If there are applicants who want to organize their own panels they are welcome, but independent submissions are just as acceptable. Remember to include person and/or institutional contact information.

The conference will be held at California State University, Long Beach campus on April 8, 2005.
