OAH (Washington DC 4/19-22/06)-"Our America: Making Meaning on the South Side of Chicago"

I am looking for people to fill a panel on the book "Our America" by LeAlan Jones and Lloyd Newman for the upcoming OAH conference in April 2006 in Washington DC. If you use this book in your classes or have experience with it, and would like to contribute a paper on why the book is important as a teaching tool and/or cultural text, please submit a one-page abstract and short CV to the email address below. Deadline for submissions is 12/15/04.
