This national conference is organised in collaboration with the Historical Association, the Royal Historical Society and the History at the Universities Defence Group and will be of interest to all working in the field of history education – in secondary and primary schools, universities and museums.
There will be plenary lectures by David Starkey, David Eastwood and Sean Lang and presentations by representatives from the Q.C.A., the University of Edinburgh, English Heritage and the Black and Asian Studies Association.
Secondary school history students from across the U.K. will participate in a debate on 'What is to be gained from the study of History?'
