The Women's History Network Germany in conjunction with the Archive of the German Women's Movement invite abstracts of no more than 1 A4 page for papers to be presented at an international conference at Bremen University, September 15-17, 2005, on the international dimension of the women's movements, 1830s-1960s. The conference aims critically to assess the mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion operating within the internationalisms of women's movements and thereby to sharpen the contours of national concepts of feminism. Conference languages will be English and German. A detailed call for papers in English as well as further information on the conference is available from the organizers.
