JSRN: Archive of Japanese Government Research Materials
A free monthly e-newsletter outlining the best in new Japan related government research materials.
Japan's economy and business sectors are in a period of transition and change. When change occurs on any level, macro or micro -- it is vital that researchers have access to quality data and sound analysis, in addition to obtaining an understanding of market and business trends. To enhance the efforts of academic researchers on each level -- faculty, graduate and undergraduate, JETRO established an archive for core Japanese economic and research material, JETRO's JSRN [Japanese Studies Resource Network.]
One of JETRO's core competencies is in the area of researching Japanese economic, business and industry and it is important that this material be accessible, in a user-friendly way, to universities and colleges. JSRN offers multi-disciplinary value across academic departments as faculty and graduate students in economics, political science, business, international relations, and Asian studies will surely benefit by having easy access to Japanese economic and business research. And hopefully, JSRN will be used to inspire a new generation of future scholars to gain a greater understanding of the Japanese and Asian economies. Therefore, every month we will notify you of new research materials to be featured in the JSRN archive. As the collection of materials builds over time, so will the value of the JSRN archive.
