Ra is a forum suitable for the study and the academic debate regarding to the diverse dimensions of the interest in architecture and the city that is fitting to a university vision: understanding them to be cultural realities of unarguable importance and impact and as objects of careful attention, study and investigation.

It aims to serve, specifically, the intellectual production of the departments of Theory and History, Urban Planning and Architectural Projects, although it is initially open to articles and collaboration from other professional and teaching institutions. It also seeks to feed the perception of architecture that allows one not to lose sight of its dimension as a cultural discipline, in the broadest sense of the word, imposing as its only limitation, that of descending to the world of publication of projects and things that are currently being done in the area of design and of building work, which are more suitable for other publications and more than covered in our surroundings by so many other magazines of proven experience and reliability.

All papers are sent anonimously to our Editorial Board.

The author will be informed whether the article might be consider or not for publication (at the discretion of the Editorial Board), though, reflecting the suggestions made to which these might influence or impede the article's publication.

Submissions for our #7 issue are welcome no later than March 29, 2005. Articles should be no more than 4.500 words.

All submissions could be submitted by e-mail, or on a CD or disk, accompanied by hard copies of text and images (images not by e-mail). Text as Microsoft Word or RTF format, images as TIFF, JPEG files with a 300ppi resolution at least. Figures should be numbered in the text. Image captions, footnotes and credits must be also included. A brief author's curriculum, as well.
