Fourteenth Conference of Women's History Network (UK) 'Women, Art and Culture: Historical Perspectives', September 2nd-4th 2005 at Southampton. Plenary speakers Frances Borzello and Marina Vaizey. Papers are invited on Women and the: visual arts; arts and crafts movement; performing arts; literary arts; women as art objects; women as mediators of culture; women as collectors and benefactors. Bursaries may be available for students and those on a low income.Papers will be considered for special issues of Women's History Magazine and Women's History Review.
Please send abstracts of 200-300 words by March 30, 2005.
