Call for Papers: California Religious History — This is a call for chapter length essays for an anthology of historical essays tentatively called, Transplanted Spiritualities: Essays on the California Religious Experience. As the title indicates, the controlling theme will be the intersection of religion and migration related to the California experience in any historical period. Papers on any religious tradition or theme using any critical methodology are welcome, but they should be grounded in research into primary sources around a solid methodological framework. Due date for proposals is December 31, 2004. Potential contributors should direct inquiries and/or a 500 word proposal and brief CV to:
