CALL FOR PAPERS

Cleveland State University and John Carroll University will host "Homegoings, Crossings, and Passings: Life and Death in the African Diaspora," an academic conference, on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. Scholars and advanced graduate students are invited to submit abstracts for individual papers or panels. We seek papers using various approaches, including but not limited to, historical, sociological, and theological. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words in length. Conference papers will be reviewed for possible publication. Please submit the abstract and a two-page c.v. by December 6, 2004 to the e-mail address shown below, or mail to:
