The Massachusstts Historical Society announces it's schedule for the 2004-2005 academic season of seminars in Immigration & Urban History.
Each seminar takes the form of a discussion of a pre-circulated paper. Our first seminar this season takes place on September 30, and is Presented by Alexander von Hoffman of Harvard University, titled "The Emeregence of the Galactic City: Population and Employment Growth in American Metropolitan Areas, 1970-2000".
All seminars are free and open to the public, but in order to receive papers in advance, a small charge is made to subscribe to all the papers for the season.
For more information, including a copy of the season's schedule of 7 seminars, please contact Seth M. Vose III, Program Coordinator (contact information listed below).
