Foreign Policy, Religious Conflict and Public Discourse in post-Westphalian Europe (1648-1713)
On 7 and 8 January 2005, The Williamite Universe organises its third annual conference, in Het Loo Palace, Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, entitled Foreign Policy, Religious Conflict and Public Discourse in post-Westphalian Europe (1648-1713). This conference intends to gauge the continuous influence of religion on armed conflict after the so-called Wars of Religion. Speakers include Matthew Glozier (Sydney), Simon Groenveld (Leiden), Donald Haks (ING, The Hague), Ben Kaplan (London), Horst Lademacher (Münster) and Paul Sonnino (Santa Barbara).
