On 7 and 8 January 2005, The Williamite Universe organises its third annual conference, in Het Loo Palace, Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, entitled Foreign Policy, Religious Conflict and Public Discourse in post-Westphalian Europe (1648-1713). This conference intends to gauge the continuous influence of religion on armed conflict after the so-called Wars of Religion.
