Callings is a national conference that will bring a wide range of viewpoints to bear on the simple but profound question, “What does it mean to be called by God?” Keynote speakers include Thomas Hibbs, Ph.D., Ethics and Culture, Baylor University; Jeanne Heffernan, Ph.D., Humanities and Augustinian Traditions, Villanova University; and the Rev. Kenda Creasy Dean, Ph.D., Youth, Church and Culture, Princeton Theological Seminary.
The Callings Conference welcomes submissions from all academic disciplines. Papers should provide conference attendees new insight into the meaning of “call” and/or suggestions for how a new sense of vocation can be better incorporated into our lives. Abstracts are due November 15, 2004.
