This workshop will explore questions of how and why to undertake interdisciplinary teaching at the college and university level. Distinguished keynote speakers and panelists from several disciplines will consider ways to better incorporate interdisciplinarity into the classroom and into university institutional structures.
The workshop will be held September 10, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT at the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute in the John Hope Franklin Center at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina.
