September 24th and 25th, 2004 the Institute for the Study of Christianity and Culture will host a conference at Michigan State University, Kellogg Center. Friday evening and Saturday morning Professor Eleonore Stump of St. Louis University will deliver two presentations on the topic of her Gifford lectures, "Narrative and the Problem of Suffering." There will be a panel response. Saturday afternoon Dr. Damon Linker, Editor of "First Things" will deliver a presentation looking at the use of the rhetoric of religion by the two political parties in the current election. The lecture, "God and Politics in America, 2004" will be followed by a round table discussion. Further information can be found at: http://www.christianityandculture.org/
