The deadline for submission to the Film and History conference has been extended to September 15, 2004.
The Film and History League invites you to consider giving a presentation that investigates new trends in Hitchcock criticism and that explores the intersections of his cinematic output with the events of World War II and/or the Cold War. How do Hitchcock's films engage with these two pivotal events of the twentieth century? Hitchcock's world of spies, villains, and international intrigue continues to be a rich and fascinating source of investigation, and we hope you will join us at our conference
and contribute to its growing body of criticism.
The Film and History League, with the Literature/Film
Association, will be holding its conference on War in Film,
Television, and History during November 11-14, 2004 near Dallas, TX. Full details on the location, registration procedures, and additional area topics can be found on the website below.
Deadline for proposals is September 15, 2004.
