AAAHRP is now accepting proposals for panels and individual papers for its 2nd Annual Conference to be held on February 5, 2005, at the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) in Seattle, Washington. AAAHRP will consider all subjects within the realm of African and African American history, and welcomes submissions from scholars; professional and avocational historians; genealogists; graduate students; and those engaged in the study or preservation of African American history at archives, libraries, historic sites, museums, and historical societies.
The submission deadline is September 30, 2004. Proposals should include a one-page abstract which presents the paperís thesis, sources, and conclusion. A short bio which includes author's name, address, telephone, e-mail, and affiliation should be included. Please address all inquiries and submissions to Conference Committee at email@example.com. Authors of selected proposals will be notified by November 1, 2004.
