The National Coalition of Independent Scholars announces its seventh biennial conference,
“INDEPENDENT SCHOLARS: COMING OF AGE,” to be held on OCTOBER 15-17 2004 at The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen, 20 W. 44th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues, New York City. Plenary sessions on publishing, forming intellectual communities, and writing for scholarly and/or general audiences. Concurrent sessions on a variety of subjects related to how– and why– independent scholars do their work.
