You are cordially invited to participate in the 2005 annual meeting of the Southwestern Historical Association to be held in New Orleans' Fairmont Hotel, Wednesday through Saturday, 23-26 March 2005.
We invite individuals and groups to submit paper/panel proposals. We encourage the participation of both younger and of more established scholars -- undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, and independent scholars -- are all invited to submit proposals.
Paper proposals should be submitted to the appropriate vice-president / conference co-ordinator before 15 October 2004.

All papers presented at the Conference are also eligible for awards given by the Association. Student papers are eligible for either the Conference awards and Phi Alpha Theta prizes.
