"Flowers, Seeds and Fruits" is the theme for the next issue of the newsletter of NILAS, Nature in Literature and Story, an organization dedicated to understanding relationships between humans and the natural world through the mediation of stories, poems, legends, artworks and other cultural products. Unpublished fiction and nonfiction (up to 3000 words), poetry (send no more than five poems), and reviews of appropriate books are sought, as well as black and white artwork appropriate to the theme. Deadline is August 23, 2004; please send work electronically to guest editor Patricia Monaghan, pmonagha@depaul.edu.
