Preparations are currently being made for the annual meeting of the Michigan Academy of Science, Arts, and Letters. The Academy is a multidisciplinary society focused on promoting the exchange of scholarly work. This year the meeting will be held on the campus of Eastern Michigan University, March 4-5, 2005.
The abstract deadline is Nov. 11, 2004. Abstract forms and other information can be found on the Michigan Academy web site www.umich.edu/~michacad or by contacting the section chair. (Please be aware the Academy web page will change after Sept 1).
Abstracts of papers on any appropriate topic are welcome. For this coming meeting of the History of Science and Technology section, part of the session will be organized around the theme of “Science on the Periphery.” Thus, the section especially seeks paper proposals that fit within this topic.
