CFP: Special Journal Issue: British History

The editorial office of THE HISTORIAN is currently accepting submissions for publication consideration for an upcoming special issue dedicated to British history. We welcome submissions from all periods of British history. Articles may include, but are not limited to, the following topics:
war and society
monarchy
imperialism
social structures
intellectual discourses
gender relations
race relations
migration
education
politics
economics
science
Manuscripts should be no more than 6,000 words, exclusive of footnotes, and conform to The Chicago Manual of Style, 14th edition. The author’s name should appear on the title page only.
Submissions should include three copies of the completed manuscript, an IBM-compatible disk copy, and a summary abstract of the article. Alternatively, submissions may be sent via email as an attachment in either MS Word or Word Perfect format to: historian@chuma1.cas.usf.edu. For submissions sent via email, there is no need to send additional copies, but please include contact information.
Deadline for submission is October 31, 2004. Any queries may be directed to the editorial office via email.
