Unknown American and Holocaust History Revealed in Newly Published Memoirs of Unique Immigrants to the U.S.
A four year search for members of a virtually unknown group
of American immigrants has resulted in the locating of almost half of the approximately one thousand unaccompanied children rescued from the Holocaust by America and the first ever publication of the memoirs of several dozen of these children (now in their 70's and 80's) that includes Nobel Prize winner in Physics Jack Steinberger and rock and roll impresario Bill Graham.
The book also includes the historical context of these remarkable rescues and its importance for dealing with continuing wars of genocide today.
