There is to be a conference entitled "A Century of Scientific Outreach" at Cornell University Sept. 9-11, 2004 with sessions on agricultural history in New York State, colonial agriculture, international agriculture, L. H. Bailey, the history of agricultural education in Ontario, the history of plant pathology, agricultural literature, the political economy of agricultura, agriculture in wartime, and other topics. Deadline for registration is early August.
