Submissions addressing the conference theme, "Communication, Dialogue and Community" are especially welcomed. Please send three (3) copies of all snail-mailed papers or program proposals. Papers and panels may also be submitted by email attachment in Word format (.doc at the end of the file) or as an .rtf file to demars@shsu.edu. All panels proposals must use the program proposal form found on the SSCA web site (http://ssca.net/form.htm).
Graduate students are especially encouraged to submit completed research papers. The top graduate student paper from the Political Communication Division will be submitted for consideration for the Southern States Communication Association's Bostrom Award, which goes to the best graduate student paper. All graduate student papers must be clearly identified. No graduate student paper will be considered for top student paper if a faculty member is one of the paper's authors. Deadline for receipt of papers or panel submissions is September 15, 2004.
