Vocal Improvisation & Chanting
When: August 6 to August 8, 2004
Where: WINDRISE, Metamora, MI
Presenter: Silvia Nakkach, singer, international teacher, musitherapist,and Director of the School of the Voice, San Francisco, CA, USA, will be teaching in southeast Michigan for the first time and we hope the first of many times at Windrise. Program: Students and musicians from around the world gather to be nourished by this mid-west 140 acre forrested sanctuary. Experience a wealth of music from many cultures. We will learn how to obtain wisdom & healing from the art & the yoga of music improvisation, using the body and the intelligence of the voice as the main instrument for attaining confidence, transformation and personal freedom.
