The Student Members' Group (SMG) of the Association of Art Historians (AAH) organises this year's Summer School in Exeter, the University of Plymouth, UK, 26-27 July 2004.
The Summer School is an opportunity for both postgraduate and undergraduate students to gain practical experience in art history through workshops, presentations and student research papers. The Summer School is a forum to share your research and receive feedback and important guidance on building a career in the discipline. It is also a chance to meet and interact with fellow students. We also visit St Peter's Cathedral, the Royal Albert Memorial and the Spacex Gallery.
All-inclusive conference fee is £40 (lunch, snacks and accommodation on 26 July). Registration without accommodation is £25. AAH membership is necessary to participate and we are pleased to offer the Summer School participants a reduced AAH membership fee of £10. The booking deadline is 15 July 2004.
For further information, timetable and booking forms, please contact Outi Remes at ch-students@aah.org.uk or see the AAH website http://www.aah.org.uk/assn/students/students.html
