The World History Association invites you to join us again for our Thirteenth Annual Conference, June 18-20, 2004 at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
GMU's scenic campus is a short metro ride from Washington, D.C. The themes of the conference will be: Social History as World History; Diasporas in World History; Empires in World History to 1500. The featured keynote speakers will be: Peter Stearns, George Mason University; Joseph Harris, Howard University; John Mears, Southern Methodist University.

The WHA will be offering day rates of $33 and half-day rates of $16.50 during on-site registration- Friday, June 18th to Sunday, June 20th.
Please note that (1) day or half-day registration is allowed per person. If you plan to attend on Saturday, June 19th, the conference lunch is not included in the day rate price.
